Horizon Segment was founded in 2018 to raise the standard of engineering delivery across Africa’s critical industries. Starting with oilfield service process safety, we’ve expanded into multidisciplinary solutions combining field services, procurement and automation.
Today we operate from strategic hubs in Nigeria and the United States, delivering technical capability, certified products, and reliable supply chain services to operators, manufacturers and critical infrastructure owners.

Horizon Segment was founded in 2018 with a clear and ambitious mission: to bring a new standard of engineering excellence, safety, and reliability to Africa's most critical industries. We began our journey with a focused expertise in Oil & Gas Services and Process Safety Solutions, where our commitment to precision and integrity quickly earned us the trust of major operators.
As we successfully executed complex projects in Nigeria and expanded our footprint into challenging markets like Congo and Cameroon, we recognized a broader need. We saw that the same principles of engineering resilient, intelligent systems could be applied to solve the continent's evolving energy and security challenges. This realization sparked the natural evolution of our vision. Our expertise in protecting critical assets with automated safety systems laid the foundation for our Smart Surveillance division, while our deep understanding of the energy sector drove our expansion into Smart Energy Solutions
